How to use CEM diagnostics?

Hi all, I downloaded a whole load of gobbeldegook from a Dutch website, which blabs on about 'position 1' 'function 4' and all that. Great. There's a little black plastic box on the nearside inner wing of my 480. Can anyone tell me what to do when one takes the top off it, to reveal the 6 holes and a little connector on a wire? Do you hold down the button, do you stick the thing in one of the holes and hold down the button ... what? The info. I downloaded was great, but completely fails to mention what to do. Thanks! OBD connector 

You will find that not all the holes have a wire/connector in them. The main one that is used is no. 2 which is the engine management diagnostics. Plug the trailing wire in no2 switch on ignition then press button for one second and release the red LED will then flash a series of codes. For example one flash a pause, one flash a pause, one flash a pause is 111 no faults stored. If for example a code of 334 is stored you will get three flashes, pause three more, pause then four flashes. If more than one fault code stored you need to make a note of each flash sequence until you get back to the first code. Paul.
