AU plugins?

Hey everybody, I know I just made a topic about AU files in the Compatibility forum, but I did some more research and realized that only the OSX version of Reaper can read AU files. My new question is, is there any way to get Reaper on Windows to read AU files, or is there another DAW or something else I could mess around with to get AU files working? Sorry about the two topics. Thanks!

AU is MAC standard, not Windows. Those two don't match.
