Logic and HD white noise. Please help!

Hi All, I try to use Logic using DAE with HD hardware. But when I record anything all I get is white noise after the recording.Any advice? I am using Logic6.1 PT HD3 192 Digital using DAE and DTDM OSX 10.2.6 Thanks Oz

You've bought the Emagic Logic HD extension, and have your XSKey authorized for it, right? Lee Blaske

Yes I have the HD extension. Now I remember actually the same thing happened before when I was using Logic 6.1 and PT Mix3 on OS9.2.2 Using 888s. And different Mac. Thanks Oz

Try changing the sound file type from whatever is your current default to Wav or Aiff or SD2. See if that makes a diff.

Indeed! it turned out that this happens only when the type is wave.It seems ok with SD and Aif. Any Clue? Thanks Oz
