Inexplicable Transport Control Woes :)

MessageAuthor

Hello, I'm in the midst of a massive midi control setup using plogue Bidule(standalone), a launchpad and an Axiom 49. It's been a learning experience but I'm getting closer to a really nice creative workflow. Early on I setup the transport on the axiom to control the transport in Reaper. Done. Sorted. Working as expected. Now I'm pulling my hair out because all of a sudden the Record button on the axiom is only starting the track and not going into record. I'm trying to think why and I don't understand it. I've changed nothing. The CC number is correct. It is receiving CC messages. Manually pressing the button with the mouse puts it into record. All tracks are setup correctly. It's really been a two steps forward, one step back process but this takes the biscuit. :) ANd yeah I've tried rebooting. The problem inexplicably persists. Hopefully it's something I've done but like I said nothings changed. Cheers

Toggle Repeat is up to the same thing..all setup but no go...The thing is it's receiving it but it's just having zero effect inside Reaper. Play and Stop are working as expected.

Make sure Reaper is interpreting the CC the way you need it to. Reaper should be using the "Relative 2" for the "Transport: Record" option I believe. Also make sure your CC messages are above 65 in velocity.

Yep, CC filter on the path that goes through the switcher has done the trick. Problem Solved.
