BEst of luck... (it will be something simple...do the basics first, but be methodical and logical..)
Could be losing pressure in the fuel rail and then having to to pull fuel through by the pump. Try priming the fuel pump a few times and then cranking it. What were the plugs like? When it does fire do you get plumes of black smoke?
hi, car is 1998 72k on clock full history, have change plugs . it does start bount 5 to 10 seconds cracking when its running its fine great car, if prime it couple of times starts up first time,, so thought fuel pump, have change that 2day , still the same told check for leaking injectors they seem ok, is it possable fuel regulater not holding pressure????

If you are losing pressure in the fuel rail then it's unlikely it's the pump. The fact that the pump manages to fire it up in a few seconds shows it's working fine. Anything on the fuel rail basically, as you say leaking injectors are possible but there's also the fpr would be my likely suspect. Small amount of leakage can quickly depressurise the system. I take it there are no signs of fuel leakage around the outside of any of the injectors?
