What is a good fiddle VST

And I mean fiddle, specifically. For country music. I know it's the same instrument as a violin, but it is played a different way. And I'd like it to have midi sequences built in - as in you put it as a long 4-bar note or so and it plays a jam, not just that one note. All the ones I saw are ONLY for Kontact and I am using Reaper. I am gonna look for free midi fiddle sequences while I wait eagerly for an answer. Free or really cheap would be nice

Built-in MIDI sequencer in an instrument VST ist asking for a lot for a small price. When you want it cheap, you can get by putting the time in tinkering. E.g. looking in archives for a free ancient fiddle .sf2 package, a soundfont player and a sequencer you can save together as a FX chain (though not in that order ;) ) When you want it convenient, you can trade off that time against paying for Kontakt, Falcon or whatever fiddles your fancy.

Maybe look at this. It has a "folky" feel but might not have the attack you might need for country: It's free for use with Decent Sampler so nothing to lose I guess.
