Radio Code - SC805

Hi, I recently bought a v40 t4 which is fitted with a SC-805 stereo unit. It required a code and after reading some topics on the forum I called the dealer today and they gave me the code based on my registration number of the car. I waited 2 hours and entered the given code but it didn't work. Where do I go from here to get it working? Thanks, Abbos

Hi, The radio may have been update (faulty original) or exchanged for a new one (different model). You will need to get the part number and serial number for the dealer to be able to get the correct code for that radio. Dealers have a tool/application to be able to get codes for all units.. Des. . . ;)

Called Volvo today and explained the code didn't work. The helpful guy took the model and serial number and it came back with the code that they had given me yesterday which doesn't work! What options do I have apart from buying a new radio?
